2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshipers, once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
28For the law appoints as high priests men who have weaknesses; but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who is perfected forever.

9Then he said, Behold, I have come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first that he may establish the second.

8But you have turned out of the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts.
18For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
15Brethren, I speak after the manner of men: Though it is but a man's covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no man annuls or adds to it.
