2Who walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3Therefore, the strength of Pharaoh shall be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

18Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
15Nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

9Come up, you horses; and rage, you chariots; and let the mighty men come forth: the Ethiopians and the Libyans, who handle the shield; and the Lydians, who handle and bend the bow.

16But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the LORD has said to you, 'You shall not return that way again.'
5If you have run with the footmen and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?
14Thus says the LORD, The labor of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours: they shall follow you; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down to you, they shall make supplication to you, saying, Surely God is with you; and there is no other, there is no God.

1When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and a people more than you, do not be afraid of them: for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
