47Therefore behold, the days come that I will execute judgment upon the graven images of Babylon; her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in her midst.
48Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for Babylon; for the destroyers shall come to her from the north, says the LORD.
49As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.
16Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read:
24And I will render to Babylon, and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea, all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, says the LORD.
54A sound of a cry comes from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans;

24Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place and upon the inhabitants of it, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah:
12Set up the banner upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for the LORD has both devised and done what He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.
29And the land shall tremble and be in sorrow; for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

10For I have set my face against this city for harm and not for good, says the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
31One runner shall meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken wholly,
8And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD'S house.
35A sword is upon the Chaldeans, says the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.

3But Baruch the son of Neriah sets you against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
35The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.
