1And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, near the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

9Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and endowed with salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey.
10I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace to the nations: and his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.

31And if anyone asks you, Why do you untie it? you shall say to him, Because the Lord has need of it.

34And they said, The Lord has need of it.
35And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their garments on the colt, and they set Jesus on it.
36And as he went, they spread their clothes on the road.
37And when he was nearing, even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,
38Saying, Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord; peace in heaven and glory in the highest.
7And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on it; and he sat on it.
8And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.
9And those who went before, and those who followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord:
10Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
11And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked around at everything, and since the evening was come, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
16These things his disciples did not understand at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.
13And he said to his sons, Saddle me the donkey. So they saddled the donkey for him: and he rode on it,
15And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, they were very displeased,
11Binding his foal to the vine, and his donkey's colt to the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes.
27And he spoke to his sons, saying, Saddle me the donkey. And they saddled it.
28And he went and found his corpse cast in the way, and the donkey and the lion standing by the corpse: the lion had not eaten the corpse, nor torn the donkey.
10Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, says the LORD.
14Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
32Do not fear, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
10Speak, you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
13Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze, and you shall beat in pieces many people, and I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.
25Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain forever.
39For I say to you, You shall not see me again until you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
8And you, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, to you it shall come, even the former dominion. The kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
