22 As He did to the children of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, when He destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them and dwelt in their place even unto this day.
9 And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites who dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.
3 And in Jerusalem lived the children of Judah, the children of Benjamin, the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.

63 As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah in Jerusalem to this day.
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel did not expel the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites; but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
27 Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and its towns, nor Taanach and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns; but the Canaanites were determined to dwell in that land.
10 And they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day, and serve under tribute.
5 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites—the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon—gathered themselves together and went up, they and all their armies, and encamped before Gibeon and made war against it.
12 The Horites also dwelt in Seir previously; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their place, as Israel did to the land of his possession, which the LORD gave to them.
