15 What do you mean by crushing My people, and grinding the faces of the poor? says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
1 Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and who write out oppressive laws they have prescribed;
2 To turn aside the needy from justice and to take away the rights from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
7 You who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
1 Listen to this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of the LORD, and mention the God of Israel, but not in truth or in righteousness.
4 Hear the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:
9 Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD does not see.
23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: everyone loves gifts, and follows after rewards: they do not judge the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow come to them.
3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asks, and the judge asks for a reward; and the great man utters his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
9 Proclaim in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say: Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in its midst, and the oppressed within it.
10 For they know not to do right, says the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
13 Hear, and testify in the house of Jacob, says the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,
3 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, against this family I devise an evil from which you shall not remove your necks; neither shall you go haughtily, for this time is evil.
4 Hear this, you who swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land fail,
10 Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
5 All this is for the transgression of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?
11 Since you tread upon the poor, and you take from him burdens of wheat: you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink wine of them.
12 For I know your many transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant plant: and he looked for justice, but behold, oppression; for righteousness, but behold, a cry.
6 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one, were in you using their power to shed blood.
11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.
23 Who justify the wicked for a reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
14 And judgment is turned backward, and justice stands far off: for truth has fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
9 Thus says the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, says the Lord GOD.
12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on them:
10 The princes of Judah were like those who remove a boundary: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.

3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they do not gnaw the bones until the morning.
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and those who are led by them are destroyed.
7 They pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go in to the same maid, to profane My holy name:
4 Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth, for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds.
20 Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
11 Concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear the word of the LORD;
16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and you walk in their counsels, that I may make you a desolation, and the inhabitants a hissing; therefore you shall bear the reproach of My people.
3 And I will cut off the judge from its midst, and will slay all its princes with him, says the LORD.
