16 For behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal the broken, nor feed what stands still. But he will eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their hooves in pieces.

5 And this man shall be the peace when the Assyrian comes into our land and when he treads in our palaces. Then we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight leaders of men.
6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod at its entrances; thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he comes into our land and when he treads within our borders.
12 They shall call its nobles to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all its princes shall be nothing.
19 But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; like a carcass trodden under foot.
10 For the LORD has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers has He covered.
24 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian: he shall strike you with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.
16 Then he said, I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let each return to his house in peace.
25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him underfoot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
13 And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
