35 I the LORD have said, I will surely do it to all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

7 And why discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?
8 This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.
9 For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, so that they would not go into the land which the LORD had given them.

23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
32 And they gave a bad report of the land which they had explored to the children of Israel, saying, The land through which we have gone to explore it is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in it are men of great stature.

11 And the LORD said to Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be before they believe me, for all the signs which I have shown among them?
6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those that searched the land, tore their clothes:
7 And they spoke to all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceedingly good land.
16 Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.
34 And the LORD heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying,
35 Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land, which I swore to give to your fathers,

9 And Moses spoke to Aaron, Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD, for he has heard your complaints.
24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
