And you murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

33Who went in the way before you, to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, in fire by night to show you by what way you should go, and in a cloud by day.
34And the LORD heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying,
19And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
20And I said to you, You have come to the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving to us.

8And Moses said, This shall be when the LORD gives you meat to eat in the evening and bread to the full in the morning; for the LORD hears your complaints which you make against him: and what are we? Your complaints are not against us, but against the LORD.
9And Moses spoke to Aaron, Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD, for he has heard your complaints.
3And the people argued with Moses and spoke, saying, "Would God that we had died when our brothers died before the LORD!
4And why have you brought the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness so that we and our livestock should die here?
5And why have you made us come up out of Egypt to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain, or figs, or vines, or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink."
26And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
27How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmurs against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
22And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah, you provoked the LORD to wrath.
23Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and you did not believe him, nor listen to his voice.
1And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD; and the LORD heard it; and His anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burned among them, and consumed those who were in the outermost parts of the camp.
29Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against me,
20But even a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have despised the LORD who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying, Why did we come out of Egypt?
13Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land that flows with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, unless you make yourself altogether a prince over us?
14Moreover, you have not brought us into a land that flows with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up.
41But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, You have killed the people of the LORD.
28Where shall we go up? Our brethren have discouraged our hearts, saying, The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.

44And the Amorites, who dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, as far as Hormah.

10For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt; and what you did unto the two kings of the Amorites, who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.
36And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,
22And every one of you came near to me, and said, Let us send men before us, and they shall search out the land for us, and bring us back word of the way we must go up and of the cities we will come to.
17But with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
11For this cause, both you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that you complain against him?

16When we cried out to the LORD, He heard our voice and sent an angel and brought us up out of Egypt; now here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.
