4I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,
5Hearing of your love and faith, which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints;
4Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love you have for all the saints,
5For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6Which has come to you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
7As you also learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you;
8Who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
9For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10That you might walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
15Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love for all the saints,
16Do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:
7For we have great joy and solace in your love, because the hearts of the saints are refreshed by you, brother.
8Therefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to command you to do what is fitting,
4I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
5That in everything you are enriched by him, in all speech, and in all knowledge;
6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
3We are bound to thank God always for you, brothers, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other abounds;
4So that we ourselves boast of you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure:
11For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established;
12That is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
7Therefore, as you abound in everything, in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us, see that you abound in this grace also.
5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7Just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.
11Therefore, we also pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
9And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment;
10So that you may approve things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ;
11Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
25And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith;
26That your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.
27Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
3Remembering constantly your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the presence of God our Father;
7So that you became examples to all who believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
8For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything.
5Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers;
6They have borne witness of your charity before the church: whom if you bring forward on their journey in a godly manner, you will do well:
6But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, as we also to see you:
7Therefore, brothers, we were comforted concerning you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
2That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
8For if these things are in you and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
13For we write no other things to you than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you shall acknowledge even to the end;
14As also you have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, just as you also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
19For I know that this will turn out for my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
16I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
11Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which through us produces thanksgiving to God.
