11And God said to him, Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment;
37Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way.
4Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with those who do iniquity; and let me not eat of their delicacies.
23For I know that You will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.
13Oh that You would hide me in the grave, that You would keep me secret, until Your wrath is past, that You would appoint me a set time, and remember me!
26Then you shall say to them, I presented my supplication before the king, that he would not cause me to return to Jonathan's house, to die there.
2And he said, Behold now, I am old, I do not know the day of my death:
20Therefore hear now, I pray you, O my lord the king: let my plea, I pray you, be accepted before you, that you do not cause me to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
31He said, "What shall I give you?" And Jacob said, "You shall not give me anything; if you will do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep your flock."
22For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before your eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to you.

7Bring me venison, and make me savory food, that I may eat, and bless you before the LORD before my death.

32If you have anything to say, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify you.
12Nor have I departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
