  • 9 I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

  • 4 And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication:

  • 9 Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know;

  • 41 And it happened on the next day, that Balak took Balaam and brought him up into the high places of Baal, that from there he might see the furthest part of the people.

  • 21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall mourn for many who have sinned already and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

  • 17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

  • 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone who is called a brother if he is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

  • 2 Lift up your eyes to the high places and see where you have not been violated. On the roads you have sat for them, like an Arabian in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your whoredoms and your wickedness.
