  • 2 Cor 3:13-18 : 13 And not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not steadily look to the end of what was being abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day, the same veil remains untaken away in the reading of the old covenant; which veil is done away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their hearts. 16 Nevertheless, when it turns to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 But we all, with unveiled faces beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
  • 2 Cor 4:4-6 : 4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
