  • Ezek 34:11-31 : 11 For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search for my sheep, and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a rich pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord GOD. 16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. 17 And as for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, between the rams and the goats. 18 Does it seem a small thing to you to have eaten up the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but you must foul the rest with your feet? 19 And as for my flock, they eat what you have trodden with your feet; and they drink what you have fouled with your feet. 20 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD to them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21 Because you have pushed with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad; 22 Therefore I will save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. 23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. 25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27 And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those who used them. 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. 29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the nations any more. 30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord GOD. 31 And you my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord GOD.
  • Jer 3:12-19 : 12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, backsliding Israel, says the LORD; and I will not cause my anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, says the LORD, and I will not keep anger forever. 13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against the LORD your God, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice, says the LORD. 14 Turn, O backsliding children, says the LORD; for I am married to you: and I will take you, one from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 15 And I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 16 And it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says the LORD, they shall no longer say, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done anymore. 17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk anymore after the imagination of their evil heart. 18 In those days, the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance to your fathers. 19 But I said, How shall I put you among the children and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? And I said, You shall call me, My Father; and shall not turn away from me.
  • Jer 31:1-9 : 1 At that time, says the LORD, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. 2 Thus says the LORD, The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to give him rest. 3 The LORD appeared to me long ago, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you. 4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. 5 You shall yet plant vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things. 6 For there shall be a day when the watchmen on Mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise, and let us go up to Zion to the LORD our God. 7 For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: proclaim, give praise, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel. 8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the ends of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and she who is in labor together: a great company shall return there. 9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications I will lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, in which they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. 10 Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, and declare it in the distant isles, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock. 11 For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he. 12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden, and they shall not sorrow anymore at all. 13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. 14 And I will satisfy the soul of the priests with abundance, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD. 15 Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they are no more. 16 Thus says the LORD; Restrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. 17 And there is hope in your future, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border. 18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bull not accustomed to the yoke: turn me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God. 19 Surely, after I was turned, I repented; and after I was instructed, I struck my thigh: I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, because I bore the reproach of my youth. 20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD. 21 Set up waymarks, make high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, the way you came: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities. 22 How long will you wander about, O backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall encompass a man. 23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; They shall still say this word in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness. 24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all its cities together, farmers, and those who go forth with flocks. 25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. 26 Upon this I awoke, and looked around; and my sleep was sweet to me. 27 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. 28 And it shall come to pass, that just as I have watched over them, to uproot, to break down, to throw down, and to destroy, and to harm; so will I watch over them, to build and to plant, says the LORD. 29 In those days they shall no longer say, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge. 30 But everyone shall die for his own sin: every man who eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge. 31 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them, says the LORD: 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law within them, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  • Hos 14:2-9 : 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say to him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so we will offer the sacrifice of our lips. 3 Assyria will not save us; we will not ride on horses: neither will we say anymore to the work of our hands, You are our gods: for in you the orphan finds mercy. 4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger is turned away from him. 5 I will be as the dew to Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and strike his roots as Lebanon. 6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his fragrance as Lebanon. 7 Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. 8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do anymore with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green cypress tree. From me your fruit is found. 9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
  • Joel 2:28-32 : 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit. 30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes. 32 And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be delivered; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and among the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
  • Hos 2:14-23 : 14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. 15 And I will give her vineyards from there, and the Valley of Achor as a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came out of the land of Egypt. 16 And it shall be at that day, says the LORD, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali. 17 For I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. 18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them lie down safely. 19 And I will betroth you to me forever; yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. 20 I will even betroth you to me in faithfulness: and you shall know the LORD. 21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will listen, says the LORD, I will listen to the heavens, and they shall listen to the earth; 22 And the earth shall listen to the grain, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall listen to Jezreel. 23 And I will plant her for me in the earth; and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; and I will say to those who were not my people, You are my people; and they shall say, You are my God.
  • Zech 12:5-9 : 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God. 6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people around about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day the LORD shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them in that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9 And it shall happen in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
  • Isa 40:1-9 : 1 Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. 2 Speak kindly to Jerusalem and cry out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, for she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins. 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be raised up, and every mountain and hill made low; the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places smooth; 5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all humanity shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. 6 The voice said, Cry out. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field: 7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of the LORD blows upon it; surely the people are grass. 8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. 9 O Zion, you who bring good news, go up onto the high mountain; O Jerusalem, you who bring good news, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with a strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd; he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. 12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and measured the heavens with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 13 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or as his counselor has taught him? 14 With whom did he take counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding? 15 Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the islands as a very little thing. 16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its beasts sufficient for a burnt offering. 17 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted by him as less than nothing, and vanity. 18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to him? 19 The workman molds a graven image, the goldsmith covers it with gold and casts silver chains. 20 He who is so impoverished that he has no offering chooses a tree that will not rot; he seeks for himself a skillful workman to prepare a graven image that will not be moved. 21 Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is he who sits upon the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in; 23 Who brings the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity. 24 Indeed, they shall not be planted; indeed, they shall not be sown; indeed, their stock shall not take root in the earth; and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble. 25 To whom then will you liken me, or to whom shall I be equal? says the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these things, who brings out their host by number; he calls them all by name, by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power; not one is missing. 27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint nor is weary? His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint, and to those who have no might he increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
  • Zeph 3:14-20 : 14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. 15 The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of you: you shall see evil no more. 16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not: and to Zion, Let not your hands be weak. 17 The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. 18 I will gather those who are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of you, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. 19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict you: and I will save her who is lame, and gather her who was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. 20 At that time I will bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says the LORD.
  • Jer 30:18-22 : 18 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; and the city shall be rebuilt on its own ruins, and the palace shall remain as it used to be. 19 And out of them shall come thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. 20 Their children also shall be as before, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all who oppress them. 21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall come from among them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach me: for who is he who devoted his heart to approach me? says the LORD. 22 And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
  • Zech 8:14-15 : 14 For thus says the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, says the LORD of hosts, and I did not relent: 15 So again have I thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear not.
  • Zech 1:6 : 6 But My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? Then they returned and said: Just as the LORD of hosts determined to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has dealt with us.
  • Ezek 39:1-9 : 1 Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 2 And I will turn you back, and leave but a sixth part of you, and will cause you to come up from the far north, and bring you upon the mountains of Israel. 3 And I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand. 4 You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the people that are with you: I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 You shall fall upon the open field, for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD. 6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among those who dwell carelessly in the isles; and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7 So I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let them defile my holy name any more: and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is coming, and it shall be done, says the Lord GOD; this is the day of which I have spoken. 9 And those who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the javelins and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire for seven years. 10 They shall not take wood out of the field, nor cut down any from the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall take spoil from those who spoiled them, and rob those who robbed them, says the Lord GOD. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give Gog a place there for graves in Israel, the valley of the travelers on the east of the sea: and it shall block the way of the travelers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The Valley of Hamongog. 12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them, that they may cleanse the land. 13 Yes, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I am glorified, says the Lord GOD. 14 And they shall appoint men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury the travelers that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. 15 And the travelers that pass through the land, when anyone sees a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamongog. 16 And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17 And you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD: Speak to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves from all sides to my sacrificial feast that I prepare for you, even a great sacrificial feast upon the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood. 18 You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19 And you shall eat fat till you are full, and drink blood till you are drunk, at my sacrificial feast which I have prepared for you. 20 Thus you shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, says the Lord GOD. 21 And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. 22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day forward. 23 And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore I hid my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so they all fell by the sword. 24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have done to them, and hid my face from them. 25 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name. 26 After they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and no one made them afraid. 27 When I have brought them back from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who caused them to be led into captivity among the nations: but I have gathered them to their own land, and will leave none of them anymore there. 29 Neither will I hide my face anymore from them, for I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, says the Lord GOD.
  • Hos 3:5 : 5 Afterward, the children of Israel shall return, and seek the LORD their God and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the last days.
  • Zech 9:9-9 : 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes to you: he is just, and endowed with salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey. 10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace to the nations: and his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth. 11 As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant I have sent forth your prisoners out of the pit where there is no water. 12 Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope: even today I declare that I will restore double to you; 13 For I have bent Judah for myself, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you like the sword of a mighty man. 14 The LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth like lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. 15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink and make noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar. 16 The LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be like the stones of a crown, lifted up like an ensign upon his land. 17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Grain shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the young women.
  • Mic 7:14-20 : 14 Feed your people with your rod, the flock of your heritage, who dwell solitarily in the woodland, in the midst of Carmel; let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. 15 According to the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt will I show him marvelous things. 16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might; they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth; they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of you. 18 Who is a God like you, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in mercy. 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20 You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
  • Rev 14:8-9 : 8 And another angel followed, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 He shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them. 14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat one like the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
  • Mic 5:4-7 : 4 And he shall stand and shepherd in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall dwell secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth. 5 And this man shall be the peace when the Assyrian comes into our land and when he treads in our palaces. Then we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight leaders of men. 6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod at its entrances; thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he comes into our land and when he treads within our borders. 7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people like dew from the LORD, like showers upon the grass that do not wait for man nor wait for the sons of men.
  • Amos 9:8-9 : 8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth, except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD. 9 For behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. 10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. 11 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old. 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations, which are called by my name, says the LORD who does this. 13 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. 14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. 15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.
  • Ezek 36:1-9 : 1 Also, you son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: 2 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because the enemy has said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession: 3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the rest of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: 4 Therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and mockery to the rest of the nations that are all around; 5 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with spiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations: 7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I have lifted up my hand, Surely the nations that are about you, they shall bear their own shame. 8 But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are near to come. 9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown: 10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be built: 11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am the LORD. 12 Yes, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of men. 13 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because they say to you, You land devour men, and have bereaved your nations; 14 Therefore you shall devour men no more, nor bereave your nations any more, says the Lord GOD. 15 Neither will I cause men to hear in you the shame of the nations any more, nor shall you bear the reproach of the people any more, nor shall you cause your nations to fall any more, says the Lord GOD. 16 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17 Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman. 18 Therefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols with which they had polluted it: 19 And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them. 20 And when they entered among the nations, wherever they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone out of his land. 21 But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, wherever they went. 22 Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations, wherever you went. 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you shall no longer receive the reproach of famine among the nations. 31 Then you shall remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. 32 Not for your sakes do I this, says the Lord GOD, be it known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. 33 Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be built. 34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all who passed by. 35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fortified, and are inhabited. 36 Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant what was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. 37 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
  • Zech 14:20-21 : 20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, 'HOLINESS TO THE LORD'; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and boil therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
