ዳዊት ተነስኦ ናብ ሳውል ዝተሰፈረሉ ቦታ መጻእ፤ ዳዊት እቲ ሳውል ዝሰየረሉ ቦታ ኣየ ነበረ፣ ኣብነር ወዲ ነር መሪ ሠራዊቱ እዩ ነበረ። ሳውል ኣብ መካከል ሰፈር ሰይር ነበረ፣ ሕዝቡ ድማ ኣብ ዙሪያው ተሰፍሮም ነበሩ።

    8ኣቢሻይ ንዳዊት ኣለ፡ «እግዚኣብሔር ዛሬ ጠላትኻ ኣብ እጅኻ ሃበዎ እዩ። ኣብዚ ኣሎ ብኢላ ሓደ ግዜ ክንቕጽዎ ኣትዕዘብኒ፤ ካልእ ግዜ ክቕጽዎ ኣይደሊን።»
