እንዲሕ ዳዊት ኢላን ጽዋ ማይን ካብ ኣጠገብ ራስ ሳውል ኣነሰ፤ እነርእኡ ወጺኡ ከም ተወስዱ ከውን ኣለዉ፤ ማንም ኣይረኣየን፣ ኣይፈለጠን፣ ኣይተነስኡን፤ ምኽንያቱ ኩሉኦም ተኣሚቱ ነበሩ፣ ዝጥራሕ ንባር ካብ እግዚኣብሔር ኣብላዕላቶም ወዲኡ ነበረ።

    6እዚ ዳዊት ንኣሒሜሌክ ሄጣዊን ንኣቢሻይ ወዲ ዘሩያ ሓወይ ዮዓብን ኣለ፡ «መን ምስደይ ናብ ሰፈር ሳውል ይውርድ?» ኣቢሻይ ኣመለሰ፡ «ምስኻ እወርድ።»

    7ስለዚ ዳዊትን ኣቢሻይን ብለይሊ ናብ ሕዝቡ መጹ፤ እነ ሳውል ኣብ መካከል ሰፈር ተኣሚቱ ነበረ፣ ኢላኡ ድማ ኣብ ምድር ተተረከበ ነበረ ኣብ ኣጠገብ ራስኡ፤ ኣብነርን ሕዝቡን ድማ ኣብ ዙሪያው ተኣሚቱ ነበሩ።

    8ኣቢሻይ ንዳዊት ኣለ፡ «እግዚኣብሔር ዛሬ ጠላትኻ ኣብ እጅኻ ሃበዎ እዩ። ኣብዚ ኣሎ ብኢላ ሓደ ግዜ ክንቕጽዎ ኣትዕዘብኒ፤ ካልእ ግዜ ክቕጽዎ ኣይደሊን።»
