ዳዊት ሶስተ ክፋል ሕዝብ ብትእዛዝ ዮዓብ ኣላኸፈ፣ ሶስተ ክፋል ደጊም ብእጅ ኣቢሳይ ወዲ ጼሩያ ሓወይ ዮዓብ ኣላኸፈ፣ እንዳ ሶስተ ክፋል ብእጅ ኢታይ ናይ ጋት ሰብ ኣላኸፈ። ንጉሱ ሕዝቡ ኣለ፣ «ደጊም እኔ ከመ እንተኾይንኩም እምበር እወጻ» ብሎ።

    5ንጉሱ ዮዓብን ኣቢሳይን ኢታይን ኣዝዮም ኣለዎም፣ «በጃዬ ንወዲ ኣብሴሎም ብርሕ ተኣካልዩ» ብሎ። ስለ ኣብሴሎም እዚ እንተ ንጉሱ ንኹሉ ኣለቃት ትእዛዝ ዝሰጠ ሕዝቡ ኩሉ ሰሚዖ።

    6ሕዝቡ ኣብ ሜዳ ብምቃወም እስራኤል ወጻኡ፤ ጦርነቱ ኣብ ደን ኤፍሬም ተካየደ።

    7በዚ ቦታ እስራኤላውያን በፊት ኣገልጋዮት ዳዊት ተገዲሱ፤ እቲ መዓልቲ ሓደ ዓቢ ግድያ ሆነ፣ ሃያ ሽሕ ሰባት ተሰርዩ።
