Verse 24

In those days Hezekiah became very sick, to the point of death. He prayed to the LORD, who answered him and gave him a miraculous sign.

So they took it and placed it on the boil, and he recovered. 8 Hezekiah asked Isaiah, "What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me and that I will go up to the house of the LORD on the third day?" 9 Isaiah answered, "This is the sign from the LORD to you that He will do what He has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps?" 10 Hezekiah answered, "It is an easy thing for the shadow to move forward ten steps; rather, let it go back ten steps." 11 Then the prophet Isaiah called out to the LORD, and He made the shadow go back ten steps on the stairway of Ahaz, the steps it had descended.
