Selah. 5 You are radiant and majestic, more excellent than the mountains of prey. 6 The valiant ones were plundered; they slept their final sleep, and none of the warriors could lift their hands. 7 At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both chariot and horse fell into a deep sleep. 8 You alone are to be feared; who can stand before You when You are angry? 9 From heaven You pronounced judgment, and the earth feared and was still. 10 When God rose up to judge, to save all the humble of the earth. Selah. 11 Surely the wrath of mankind shall bring You praise, and the survivors of wrath shall restrain themselves. 12 Make vows to the LORD your God and fulfill them; let all who are around Him bring gifts to the One to be feared.
  • Ps 6:1-9 : 1 For the director, with stringed instruments, on the eighth. But You, LORD—how long? 5 Return, LORD! Rescue my soul; save me because of Your steadfast love. 6 For in death, no one remembers You; in the grave, who can give You thanks? 7 I am worn out from my groaning; all night long I drench my bed with tears and flood my couch with weeping. 8 My eyes grow weak from sorrow; they fail because of all my adversaries. 9 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping. 10 The LORD has heard my plea; the LORD accepts my prayer.
