Elihu was also angry with Job's three friends because they had found no answer and yet they had condemned Job.

What can the Almighty do to us?' 18 Yet it was He who filled their houses with good things, though the counsel of the wicked is far from me. 19 The righteous see it and are glad; the innocent mock them. 20 Surely our enemies are destroyed, and fire has consumed their wealth. 21 Be reconciled with God now, and at peace with Him; this will bring good to you. 22 Accept instruction from His mouth and place His words in your heart. 23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored. If you remove injustice far from your tent, 24 and assign your gold to the dust, and the gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines, 25 then the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver. 26 For then you will take delight in the Almighty and lift up your face to God. 27 You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. 28 Whatever you decide will succeed, and light will shine on your ways. 29 When people are humbled and you say, 'Lift them up,' God will save the downcast. 30 He will even deliver one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.
