  • Prov 6:24-29 : 24 They will keep you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the foreign woman. 25 Do not desire her beauty in your heart, and do not let her captivate you with her eyes. 26 For a prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, but the wife of another man hunts a precious life. 27 Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? 28 Can a man walk on hot coals without scorching his feet? 29 So is he who sleeps with another man's wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished.
  • Prov 7:5-9 : 5 To keep you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who flatters with her words. 6 For at the window of my house, through my lattice, I looked out. 7 And I saw among the naive ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man lacking understanding. 8 Passing through the street near her corner, he took the path to her house. 9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the dark of night and in deep darkness. 10 And behold, a woman came to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and sly of heart. 11 She is loud and rebellious; her feet do not stay at home. 12 Now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner, she lurks. 13 She took hold of him and kissed him; with a brazen face she said to him: 14 'I had to offer sacrifices of peace offerings; today I fulfilled my vows.' 15 'So I came out to meet you, to diligently seek your face, and I have found you.' 16 'I have spread my couch with coverings, colored linens from Egypt.' 17 'I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.' 18 'Come, let us drink our fill of love until morning; let us delight ourselves with loving caresses.' 19 'For my husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey.' 20 'He took a bag of silver with him and will not return home until the full moon.' 21 With her abundant persuasion, she entices him; with her smooth talk, she compels him. 22 He follows her all at once, like an ox going to slaughter, or like a fool to the correction of shackles. 23 Until an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird rushing into a trap, not realizing it will cost him his life. 24 Now then, my sons, listen to me and pay attention to the words of my mouth. 25 Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths. 26 For she has brought down many victims, and numerous are all those she has slain. 27 Her house is the way to Sheol, descending to the chambers of death.

Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison.
  • Neh 13:26 : 26 Did not Solomon, king of Israel, sin because of such things? Among the many nations, there was no king like him; he was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. Yet, even he was led into sin by foreign women.

  • Prov 2:16-19 : 16 It will save you from the wayward woman, from the foreign woman with her flattering words, 17 who abandons the partner of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God; 18 for her house sinks down to death, and her paths to the departed spirits. 19 None who go to her return, nor do they reach the paths of life.
  • Prov 5:3-9 : 3 For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil. 4 But in the end, she is as bitter as wormwood, sharp as a double-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave. 6 She does not consider the path of life; her ways wander, but she does not know it. 7 Now, my children, listen to me, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. 8 Keep your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house. 9 Lest you give your vigor to others, and your years to someone cruel; 10 Lest strangers feast on your strength, and your hard-earned wealth end up in the house of a foreigner. 11 At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent. 12 You will say, 'How I hated discipline, and my heart despised correction!' 13 I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors. 14 I was on the verge of total ruin in the midst of the assembly and the congregation. 15 Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well. 16 Should your springs be scattered abroad, your streams of water in the public squares? 17 Let them be yours alone, and not for strangers with you. 18 May your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—may her breasts satisfy you always, and may you always be captivated by her love. 20 Why, my son, should you be captivated by a forbidden woman or embrace the bosom of a stranger? 21 For a man's ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and He examines all his paths. 22 The wicked will be caught by his own iniquities, and he will be held fast by the cords of his sin. 23 He will die for lack of discipline, and in the abundance of his folly, he will go astray.
