- Neh 12:31-40 : 31 I appointed the leaders of Judah to go up on the wall, and I appointed two large thanksgiving choirs. One went in procession to the right on the wall, toward the Dung Gate. 32 Hoshaiah and half the leaders of Judah followed them, 33 along with Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam, 34 Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, and Jeremiah. 35 Some of the priests with trumpets were Zechariah son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph, 36 and his associates—Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, and Hanani—with the musical instruments of David the man of God. Ezra the scribe led them. 37 At the Fountain Gate, they went straight up the stairs of the City of David, on the ascent to the wall, above the house of David, to the Water Gate on the east. 38 The second thanksgiving choir proceeded to the left, and I followed them with half the people on the wall, above the Tower of the Ovens, to the Broad Wall, 39 and above the Gate of Ephraim, the Old Gate, the Fish Gate, the Tower of Hananel, the Tower of the Hundred, and as far as the Sheep Gate. They stopped at the Gate of the Guard. 40 The two thanksgiving choirs stood in the house of God. So did I and half of the officials with me.
- Isa 33:18-20 : 18 Your heart will ponder the terror: 'Where is the scribe? Where is the one who weighed the tribute? Where is the one who counted the towers?' 19 You will no longer see the arrogant people, a people of obscure speech you cannot understand, of stammering tongue that you cannot comprehend. 20 Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals! Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a secure abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be uprooted, nor will any of its ropes be broken.
- Matt 24:1-2 : 1 As Jesus was leaving the temple and walking away, his disciples came to him to show him the temple buildings. 2 Jesus said to them, 'Do you see all these things? Truly, I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.'
