- Heb 4:14-16 : 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens—Jesus, the Son of God—let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are—yet without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
- Heb 6:20-7:3 : 20 where Jesus, the forerunner for us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. 1 This Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of the Most High God, met Abraham as he returned from defeating the kings and blessed him. 2 Abraham also gave him a tenth of everything. First, his name means 'King of Righteousness'; then also, he is 'King of Salem,' which means 'King of Peace.' 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.
- Heb 7:24-28 : 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need: one who is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He does not need to offer sacrifices every day, as high priests do—first for their own sins and then for the sins of the people. He did this once for all when he offered himself. 28 For the law appoints men who are weak as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

Their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands. 12 In a loud voice they said: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power, and wealth, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing!" 13 Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea, and everything in them, saying, "To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing, honor, glory, and power forever and ever!"
- Rev 19:11-16 : 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True, and He judges and makes war in righteousness. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knows except Himself. 13 He was clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood, and desolation has been decreed until the end of the war. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week, he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. - John 17:1-5 : 1 After Jesus had spoken these words, He looked up to heaven and said, 'Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, so that the Son may glorify You.' 2 Just as You gave Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all You have given Him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.
- Acts 10:36-43 : 36 He sent the message to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. 37 You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. 39 We are witnesses of everything He did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed Him by hanging Him on a tree, 40 but God raised Him up on the third day and allowed Him to be seen— 41 not by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about Him, that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.

- Eph 1:20-23 : 20 which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet and made Him head over all things for the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
- Eph 2:13-18 : 13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who were once far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility. 15 He has abolished the law with its commandments and regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross, by which He put their hostility to death. 17 He came and proclaimed peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
- Phil 2:7-9 : 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of humanity. And being found in appearance as a man, 8 He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow—in heaven, on earth, and under the earth— 11 and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

- Col 1:18-20 : 18 And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
- Heb 2:7-9 : 7 You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor, 8 and You put everything under his feet.' In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. However, at present, we do not yet see everything subjected to him. 9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
