6And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, receiving the message in much affliction with the joy of the Holy Spirit.
7As a result, you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.
8For the word of the Lord has sounded forth from you—not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone out everywhere, so that we don’t need to say anything.
5I thank God for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
6Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

20For as many promises as God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through Him, the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.
21Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
22sealed us, and placed the pledge of the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
6In this you rejoice greatly, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials,

30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.

10so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
6So that with one mind and one voice, you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
