26then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and my servant David and will not choose one of his descendants to rule over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.
17For this is what the Lord says: David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel.

19Yet the LORD was not willing to destroy Judah for the sake of His servant David, because of the promise He had made to give a lamp to David and his descendants forever.
35I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that has gone out of my lips.
36Once I have sworn by my holiness; I will not lie to David:
33then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes.
32'But one tribe will remain for the sake of my servant David and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.'
45'But King Solomon will be blessed, and David’s throne will remain secure before the LORD forever.'
4And you will ensure that the LORD fulfills His promise to me, saying, 'If your sons are careful to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.'
31The days are coming when I will cut off your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.
8I tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you. But you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and followed Me with all his heart, doing only what was right in My eyes.
16'Now, LORD, God of Israel, keep for Your servant David, my father, what You promised him, saying: "You shall never lack a man to sit before Me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful in their ways, walking in My law as you have walked before Me."
30This is what the LORD says: Record this man as childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will succeed in sitting on the throne of David or ruling again in Judah.
14The LORD will raise up a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam. This is the day! What indeed is even now happening!
31For the Lord will not reject forever.
5Don’t you know that the LORD, the God of Israel, gave the kingship over Israel forever to David and his descendants by a covenant of salt?
26Jeroboam said to himself, "The kingdom will now likely return to the house of David.
11On that day, I will raise up the fallen booth of David. I will repair its breaches and restore its ruins, and I will rebuild it as it was in days of old.

25'Now, LORD, God of Israel, keep for Your servant David, my father, what You promised him: “You shall never fail to have a descendant to sit on the throne of Israel before Me, if only your descendants are careful to walk before Me as you have walked before Me.”'
