Then I will establish your royal throne, as I made a covenant with David your father, saying, 'You will never fail to have a man to rule over Israel.'

25 'Now, LORD, God of Israel, keep for Your servant David, my father, what You promised him: “You shall never fail to have a descendant to sit on the throne of Israel before Me, if only your descendants are careful to walk before Me as you have walked before Me.”'
26 'Now therefore, God of Israel, confirm the word that You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.'
4 And you will ensure that the LORD fulfills His promise to me, saying, 'If your sons are careful to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.'
10 And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. Evil people will not continue to oppress them as they did at the beginning,
11 from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover, the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house.
12 When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he sins, I will discipline him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of men.
15 But my steadfast love will not depart from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.
16 And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.
17 For this is what the Lord says: David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel.
36 'But to his son, I will give one tribe, so that My servant David may always have a lamp before Me in Jerusalem, the city I have chosen for Myself to put My name there.'
37 I will take you, and you will reign over all that your heart desires, and you will be king over Israel.
38 If you listen to all that I command you and walk in My ways, doing what is right in My eyes by keeping My statutes and commands, as My servant David did, then I will be with you. I will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.
39 I will humble David’s descendants because of this, but not forever.
9 I will provide a place for my people Israel and plant them so they can live in their own land and not be disturbed again. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning,
10 and as they have done since the time I appointed judges over my people Israel. I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore, I declare to you that the LORD himself will build a house for you.
11 When your days are fulfilled and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
12 He will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.
13 I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never withdraw my steadfast love from him as I did from the one who was before you.
14 I will set him over my house and my kingdom forever; his throne will be established forever.
7 I will establish his kingdom forever if he is resolute in keeping My commandments and ordinances, as he is doing today.’
17 As for you, if you walk before Me as David your father did, and do all I have commanded, and observe My statutes and judgments,
11 The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn back from it: 'From the fruit of your body I will set one upon your throne.'
12 If your sons keep My covenant and My testimony that I shall teach them, their sons also will sit upon your throne forever.
10 He will build a house for my name, and he will be my son, and I will be his father. I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.
7 Now then, tell my servant David: 'This is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people Israel.
34 'However, I will not take the whole kingdom from him but will allow him to remain ruler all his life for the sake of my servant David, whom I chose and who kept My commands and statutes.'
8 Now therefore, this is what you shall say to my servant David: Thus says the LORD of hosts: I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people Israel.
35 You are to go up with him, and he is to sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him ruler over Israel and Judah.'

7 But the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David because of the covenant He had made with David, promising to give him and his descendants a lasting lamp.
25 And now, O LORD God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have spoken.
8 I will not again make the feet of the Israelites wander from the land I gave to their ancestors, if they are careful to do everything I commanded them concerning the whole Law, the statutes, and the judgments given through Moses.
12 'Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son.'
4 I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have sworn to David, my servant:
12 Concerning this house that you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and carry out my ordinances, and keep all my commandments by walking in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.
24 My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My laws and carefully obey My decrees.
30 I will carry out today what I swore to you by the LORD, the God of Israel, saying: 'Your son Solomon will reign after me, and he will sit on my throne in my place.'
36 Once I have sworn by my holiness; I will not lie to David:
10 I will transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul and establish David's throne over Israel and Judah, from Dan to Beersheba.
21 then my covenant with David my servant and my covenant with the Levitical priests who minister before me could also be broken, so that David would no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.
