28Just as I watched over them to uproot, tear down, demolish, destroy, and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, declares the LORD.

30This is what the LORD says: Record this man as childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will succeed in sitting on the throne of David or ruling again in Judah.
15I will plant them upon their land, and they will never again be uprooted from the land I have given them, says the Lord your God.
4'If they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword to kill them. I will set My eyes on them for harm and not for good.'
18Then I will establish your royal throne, as I made a covenant with David your father, saying, 'You will never fail to have a man to rule over Israel.'
8I will not again make the feet of the Israelites wander from the land I gave to their ancestors, if they are careful to do everything I commanded them concerning the whole Law, the statutes, and the judgments given through Moses.
31For the Lord will not reject forever.
6I will watch over them with care and bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them.
7I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel, and I will rebuild them as they were at first.
26I will hand them over to those who want to take their lives, to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his servants. But afterward, Egypt will be inhabited again as in ancient days,' declares the Lord.
27But as for you, my servant Jacob, do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed, Israel. For I will save you from far away and your descendants from their captivity. Jacob will return and will be at peace and secure, with no one to make him afraid.
