  • 20But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you, Israel, have been unfaithful to me,' declares the LORD.

  • 2The scatterer has come against your face. Guard the fortress, watch the road, strengthen your loins, muster all your strength!

  • 19So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David to this day.

  • 24Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes stubble and as dry grass sinks in the flame, so their roots will decay and their blossoms will blow away like dust. For they have rejected the instruction of the LORD of Hosts and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.
