  • 9I will make them a horror and an object of calamity among all the kingdoms of the earth—a reproach, a byword, a taunt, and a curse in all the places where I drive them.

  • 3Death will be preferred to life by all the survivors who remain from this evil family, in all the places where I have driven them, declares the LORD of Hosts.

  • 45You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.

  • 9Have you not driven out the priests of the LORD, the descendants of Aaron, and the Levites, and appointed your own priests like the peoples of other lands? Whoever comes with a young bull and seven rams can become a priest of what are not gods.
