10They have turned back to the sins of their ancestors, who refused to listen to my words. They have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have violated my covenant, which I made with their ancestors.
25I will bring the sword upon you to avenge the breaking of the covenant, and when you retreat into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be delivered into the hands of the enemy.
6I will watch over them with care and bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them.
18Yet even in those days, declares the Lord, I will not completely destroy you.
11I will set my dwelling among you, and my soul will not reject you.

15Also, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land I had given them—a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands—
16It will no longer be a source of confidence for the house of Israel, bringing their guilt to mind when they turn to Egypt for help. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.
38I will purge you of those who rebel and transgress against me. Even though I bring them out from the land where they are living, they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
14I will abandon the remnant of My inheritance and give them into the hands of their enemies. They will become plunder and spoil for all their enemies,
33then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes.
