  • 13But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not follow my statutes and rejected my ordinances—though by them a person will live if they do them—and they greatly profaned my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness to destroy them.

  • 20then I will uproot you from My land that I have given you, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.

  • 7Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you are more rebellious than the surrounding nations—you have not walked in My statutes or done what My judgments demand, nor have you even lived according to the laws of the nations around you.

  • 15I will scatter you among the nations and disperse you throughout the lands, and I will cleanse you from your impurity.

  • 16For anyone who does these things, anyone who deals dishonestly, is detestable to the LORD your God.
