  • 12But if you turn away and ally yourselves with the survivors of these nations that remain among you, and if you intermarry with them and associate with them,

  • 7If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or daughter, or the wife of your embrace, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, 'Let us go and worship other gods'—gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known,

  • 9The children born to them in the third generation may enter the assembly of the LORD.

  • 4Do not turn to idols or make gods of cast metal for yourselves. I am the LORD your God.
