    13 Saul died because of his unfaithfulness to the LORD. He did not keep the word of the LORD and even sought guidance from a medium to inquire of it.

    14 He did not seek guidance from the LORD, so the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David, son of Jesse.
