    10King Rehoboam made bronze shields to replace them and entrusted them to the officers of the guards who protected the entrance to the royal palace.

    11Whenever the king entered the house of the LORD, the guards would carry the shields, and then they would return them to the guardroom.

    12When Rehoboam humbled himself, the LORD's anger turned away from him, and He did not completely destroy him. Furthermore, there were still good things in Judah.
