If Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and they turn back to You and confess Your name, pray, and make supplication before You in this house,

36 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of Your servants and Your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land You gave Your people as an inheritance.
25 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land You gave to them and to their ancestors.

30 then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place. Forgive and deal with everyone according to what they do, since You know their hearts (for You alone know the human heart).
31 so that they may fear You and walk in Your ways all the days they live on the face of the earth, which You gave to our ancestors.
32 Even concerning the foreigner who is not of Your people Israel but comes from a distant land because of Your great name, Your mighty hand, and Your outstretched arm—when they come and pray toward this house—
33 then hear from heaven, from Your dwelling place. Do according to all that the foreigner asks of You, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as Your people Israel do, and may know that this house I have built is called by Your name.
34 When Your people go out to war against their enemies, wherever You send them, and they pray to You toward this city which You have chosen and the house I have built for Your name,
35 then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.
36 When they sin against You—for there is no one who does not sin—and You are angry with them and deliver them over to their enemies, and they are taken captive to a land far away or near,
37 and they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and they repent and plead with You in the land of their captivity, saying, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong, and we have acted wickedly.'
38 And when they return to You with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and they pray toward the land You gave to their ancestors, the city You have chosen, and the house I have built for Your name,
39 then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications. Uphold their cause and forgive Your people who have sinned against You.
40 Now, my God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.
19 'Yet have regard for the prayer and the plea of Your servant, LORD my God, to listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant prays before You.

48 and if they turn back to You with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to You in the direction of the land You gave to their ancestors, the city You have chosen, and the temple I have built for Your name,
49 then hear their prayer and their plea from heaven, Your dwelling place, and uphold their cause.
50 Forgive Your people who have sinned against You; forgive all the offenses they have committed against You, and cause their captors to show them mercy,
6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you.
7 We have acted very corruptly against you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees, and laws you gave your servant Moses.
38 and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among all Your people Israel—being aware of the afflictions in their own hearts and spreading out their hands toward this house—
8 They have lived in it and have built in it a sanctuary for your name, saying,
9 'If disaster comes upon us—whether the sword, judgment, plague, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in your presence (for your name is in this temple) and cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.'
14 if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
52 May Your eyes be open to Your servant’s plea and to the plea of Your people Israel, and may You listen to them whenever they call to You.
20 While I was speaking, praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my petition before the LORD my God concerning the holy mountain of my God,
40 But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their ancestors—their unfaithfulness with which they were unfaithful to me, and also how they walked contrary to me—
1 If Israel, declares the LORD, you will return to me, you must remove your detestable things from my presence and not wander away.
