38And when they return to You with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and they pray toward the land You gave to their ancestors, the city You have chosen, and the house I have built for Your name,
39then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications. Uphold their cause and forgive Your people who have sinned against You.
40Now, my God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.
19'Yet have regard for the prayer and the plea of Your servant, LORD my God, to listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant prays before You.
20'May Your eyes be open toward this house day and night, toward the place where You said You would put Your name, to listen to the prayer Your servant prays toward this place.
21'Hear the supplications of Your servant and of Your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and when You hear, forgive.
22If someone sins against their neighbor and is required to take an oath before Your altar in this house,
28'Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, LORD my God. Listen to the cry and the prayer that Your servant prays before You today.'
29'May Your eyes be open toward this house day and night, toward the place of which You said, “My name shall be there,” to hear the prayer that Your servant prays toward this place.'
30'Hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and when You hear, forgive.'
31If someone sins against a neighbor and is asked to swear an oath, and they come and take the oath before Your altar in this house,
9'If disaster comes upon us—whether the sword, judgment, plague, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in your presence (for your name is in this temple) and cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.'
32Even concerning the foreigner who is not of Your people Israel but comes from a distant land because of Your great name, Your mighty hand, and Your outstretched arm—when they come and pray toward this house—
33then hear from heaven, from Your dwelling place. Do according to all that the foreigner asks of You, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as Your people Israel do, and may know that this house I have built is called by Your name.
34When Your people go out to war against their enemies, wherever You send them, and they pray to You toward this city which You have chosen and the house I have built for Your name,
35then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.
52May Your eyes be open to Your servant’s plea and to the plea of Your people Israel, and may You listen to them whenever they call to You.
13When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,
14if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
15Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
42for they will hear of Your great name, Your mighty hand, and Your outstretched arm. When they come and pray toward this house,

45then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.
47and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with You in the land of their captors, saying, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly';
48and if they turn back to You with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to You in the direction of the land You gave to their ancestors, the city You have chosen, and the temple I have built for Your name,
49then hear their prayer and their plea from heaven, Your dwelling place, and uphold their cause.
6let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you.
12Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in front of the entire assembly of Israel and spread out his hands.
13For Solomon had made a bronze platform, placing it in the middle of the courtyard. It was five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high. He stood on it, knelt on his knees before the entire assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven.
54When Solomon finished praying this entire prayer and supplication to the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, where he had been kneeling with his hands spread toward heaven.
16LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you.
17Now, our God, hear the prayer and petitions of Your servant. For Your sake, Lord, let Your face shine on Your desolate sanctuary.
59May these words of mine, which I have prayed before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, so that He may uphold the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel according to each day’s need.
