16The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.
17The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.
29This is the law regarding jealousy when a woman goes astray and defiles herself while under her husband's authority.
4Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another—to Him who was raised from the dead—in order that we might bear fruit for God.
6I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from the One who called you by the grace of Christ to a different gospel—

11But refuse to enroll younger widows, for when their physical desires draw them away from Christ, they desire to marry,
9You have captivated my heart, my sister, my bride; you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace.
3But I have sent the brothers so that our boasting about you in this matter might not be empty, so that you may be ready, just as I said.
14and if a spirit of jealousy comes over the husband and he becomes suspicious of his wife, whether she has defiled herself or not,
2Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem: ‘This is what the LORD says: I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.
