7You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
8Such persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.

9He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works, but according to His own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
14not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and human commandments that turn away from the truth.
4I say this so that no one may deceive you with persuasive arguments.
17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void.
4This arose because of false brothers who were secretly brought in, who slipped in to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus, so they might bring us into bondage.
6Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him.
10I am confident in the Lord that you will think no other way. The one who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
1As workers together with Him, we also urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
