    16Elisha said to the king of Israel, 'Place your hand on the bow.' So he placed his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king's hands.

    17Elisha said, 'Open the east window.' So he opened it. Elisha then said, 'Shoot!' And he shot. Elisha declared, 'This is the LORD's arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram! You will strike the Arameans in Aphek until you completely destroy them.'

    14He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it. 'Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?' he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.

    15The company of the prophets from Jericho saw him from a distance and said, 'The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.' And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.

    16They said to him, 'Look, we have fifty able men among your servants. Let them go and search for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the LORD has picked him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley.' But Elisha replied, 'Do not send them.'

    21When the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, "My father, should I kill them? Should I kill them?"

    22Elisha answered, "Do not kill them. Would you kill those you have captured with your sword or bow? Set food and water before them so they can eat and drink and then return to their master."
