The LORD said to him, 'Go back the way you came, and go to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Aram.'

9Hazael went to meet him, taking a gift in his hand that included all the finest products of Damascus, loaded on forty camels. When he came, he stood before him and said, "Your son, Ben-Hadad, the king of Aram, has sent me to ask, 'Will I recover from this sickness?'"
10Elisha said to him, "Go and say to him, 'You will certainly recover,' but the LORD has shown me that he will surely die."
15But King Joram had returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him when he fought against Hazael king of Aram. Jehu said, 'If this is your will, let no one escape from the city to report this in Jezreel.'
4So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael, and it will consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad.
5I will break the bars of Damascus, cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven, and the one who holds the scepter from Beth-Eden; the people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,' says the LORD.
22Afterward, the prophet came to the king of Israel and said, 'Strengthen your position and see what you must do, because next spring the king of Aram will come up against you again.'

34Ben-Hadad said to him, 'I will restore the cities that my father took from your father, and you can set up marketplaces for yourself in Damascus, as my father did in Samaria.' Ahab replied, 'On the basis of a treaty, I will let you go.' So he made a treaty with him and let him go.
28Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against Hazael, king of Aram, at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram in the battle.
29Then King Joram returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah in his battle against Hazael king of Aram. Ahaziah son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to Jezreel to visit Joram son of Ahab because he was wounded.
2He sent messengers to Ahab, king of Israel, in the city,
24Hazael king of Aram died, and his son Ben-Hadad became king in his place.
3Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you are to do. You are to anoint for me the one I indicate to you.
9So he replied to Ben-Hadad's messengers, 'Tell my lord the king: I will do what you originally demanded of me, but this I cannot do.' The messengers left and reported back to Ben-Hadad.
11But Jehoshaphat asked, "Is there no prophet of the LORD here, through whom we may inquire of the LORD?" One of the servants of the king of Israel answered, "Elisha, son of Shaphat, who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah, is here."
15The angel of the LORD said to Elijah, 'Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.' So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.
2And the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
1The LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you grieve over Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem, for I have chosen a king for myself among his sons."
19The man of God became angry with him and said, 'You should have struck the ground five or six times! Then you would have defeated Aram completely, but now you will defeat them only three times.'
13Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do we have to do with each other? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother." But the king of Israel said to him, "No, because it is the LORD who has called these three kings together to hand them over to Moab."
