17The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24He shall bathe his body with water in a holy place and put on his regular garments. Then he shall come out and sacrifice his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, making atonement for himself and for the people.
30You shall anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so that they may serve as priests to me.

6Take the Levites from among the Israelites and purify them.
7This is how you will purify them: Sprinkle them with the water of purification, have them shave their entire bodies with a razor, and have them wash their clothes and purify themselves.
24So Moses spoke this to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites.

6He made ten basins and placed five on the right and five on the left for washing. They were used to rinse what was used for burnt offerings. The large sea basin was used by the priests for washing.

10The LORD said to Moses, 'Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their garments.
21He washed the entrails and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
41Clothe your brother Aaron and his sons with these garments. Anoint them, ordain them, and consecrate them, so they may serve me as priests.
