18But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people live, so that no swarms of flies will be there. This will be proof to you that I, the LORD, am in this land.
12And the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt so that locusts may swarm over the land and consume every plant that the hail has left."
13So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day and night. By morning, the wind had brought the locusts.
14The locusts came up over the entire land of Egypt and settled in all the territory of the land in such large numbers that they had never been seen before, nor will they ever be seen again.
15They covered the face of the whole land, so that it was darkened. They devoured every plant in the land, all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Nothing green remained on a tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.
20But some of them did not listen to Moses and kept part of it until morning. It bred worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.
21Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land."
24So they saved it until morning as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or have maggots in it.
