Then the LORD said to Abraham, 'Why did Sarah laugh, saying, “Can I really bear a child when I am old?”'

12But God said to Abraham, 'Do not be distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.'
2Abram said, "Lord GOD, what will You give me, since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?"
3And Abram said, "You have given me no children, so a servant in my household will be my heir."
2Abraham said about Sarah his wife, 'She is my sister,' and Abimelech, king of Gerar, sent for her and took her.
19And without weakening in faith, he did not consider his own body, which was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—or the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
