14accusing her of misconduct and giving her a bad name by saying, 'I married this woman, but when I came to her, I did not find proof of her virginity,'
2But his concubine was unfaithful to him and left him, going to her father’s house in Bethlehem in Judah. She stayed there for four months.
3Then her husband arose and went after her to speak kindly to her and bring her back. He took with him his servant and a pair of donkeys. When he arrived at her father’s house, the woman’s father saw him and was glad to welcome him.

6Judah arranged a wife for Er, his firstborn son. Her name was Tamar.
8Then Judah said to Onan, 'Lie with your brother's widow, perform your duty as her brother-in-law, and produce offspring for your brother.'
18But when I raised my voice and screamed, he left his garment beside me and fled outside."
16She kept his garment beside her until his master came home.
38Instead, you must go to my father's household and to my family to take a wife for my son.'
8If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath of mine. But do not take my son back there."
28He said to her, "Get up, let us go." But there was no answer. So he put her on the donkey, and the man set out for home.
