3 This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.'
4 Do not trust deceitful words, saying: ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’
5 For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice between a person and their neighbor,
8 Go up into the mountains, bring down timber, and build the house, so that I may be pleased with it and be glorified, says the LORD.
9 You expected much, but it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew it away. Why?” declares the LORD of Hosts. “Because My house remains in ruins, while each of you is busy with your own house.
3 Therefore, say to them: 'This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Return to me,' declares the Lord of Hosts, 'and I will return to you,' says the Lord of Hosts.
4 Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: 'This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.' But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
7 From the days of your ancestors, you have turned away from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Hosts. But you ask, 'How shall we return?'
9 Now plead with God to be gracious to us. Will he accept you? This offering came from your hands. How can he be pleased with you? says the LORD of Hosts.
4 Then the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying:
13 'Now, therefore, amend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God. Then the LORD will relent concerning the disaster that He has pronounced against you.'
17 I struck you—all the work of your hands— with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to me—this is the declaration of the LORD.
18 From this day forward, consider carefully: From the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month—the day the foundation of the temple of the LORD was laid—consider it carefully.
15 Now think carefully from this day forward: Before a single stone was laid on another in the temple of the LORD—
7 But you have not listened to me, declares the LORD, and you have provoked me to anger with the works of your hands, to your own harm.
8 Therefore, this is what the LORD of Hosts says: 'Because you have not listened to my words—
16 This is what the Lord says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'
13 Your words against me have been harsh, says the Lord. But you ask, 'What have we spoken against you?
14 You have said, 'Serving God is futile. What profit is there in keeping his requirements or walking mournfully before the Lord of Hosts?
18 The word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying:
11 And now, say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, ‘Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Turn now, each one from his evil way, and reform your ways and deeds.’
13 You say, 'What a burden!' and you sniff at it with contempt, says the LORD of Hosts. When you bring stolen, lame, or sick animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands? says the LORD.
13 This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: 'Go and say to the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: “Will you not accept instruction and obey My words?” declares the LORD.
6 But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your ancestors? So they repented and said, 'As the Lord of Hosts planned to do to us, according to our ways and our deeds, so He has done to us.'
6 The LORD said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Listen to the words of this covenant and do them.’
9 This is what the LORD of Hosts says: Let your hands be strong, you who in these days hear these words from the mouths of the prophets who were present when the foundation was laid for rebuilding the temple of the LORD of Hosts.
5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the LORD of Armies:

7 By presenting defiled food on my altar. But you ask, 'How have we defiled you?' By saying, 'The LORD's table is contemptible.'
3 For this is what the LORD says to the people of Judah and Jerusalem: Break up your unplowed ground, and do not sow among thorns.
