25 Furthermore, have I come to attack and destroy this land without the LORD’s approval? The LORD Himself said to me, ‘Go up against this land and destroy it.’"
17 The Lord will bring upon you, your people, and your father's house a time unlike any since Ephraim separated from Judah—he will bring the king of Assyria.
8 Then Assyria will fall by a sword not wielded by man, and a sword not wielded by humans will devour them. They will flee from the sword, and their young men will be put into forced labor.

8 'I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod, and the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn My hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,' says the Lord GOD.
