20then I will uproot you from My land that I have given you, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
21This temple, which was so exalted, will be appalling to every passerby who sees it. They will say, 'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?'
22And the answer will be: 'Because they abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them. That is why He has brought all this disaster upon them.'
7then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. Israel will then become a proverb and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
8And this temple, now exalted, will become a heap of ruins. Everyone who passes by it will be appalled and will hiss, saying, 'Why has the LORD done this to this land and this temple?'
15And I will cast you out of my presence, just as I cast out all your brothers, the entire offspring of Ephraim.
6then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city an object of cursing among all the nations on earth.'
30For the people of Judah have done evil in my sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my name to defile it.

12Therefore because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the temple will become a high place overgrown with thickets.

25This is your lot, the portion measured for you from Me,” declares the LORD, “because you have forgotten Me and trusted in falsehood.
15I will strike down the winter house along with the summer house, and the houses of ivory will perish, and the great houses will come to an end,” declares the Lord.
14The Lord has given a command concerning you, Nineveh: 'Your name will no longer be perpetuated. Out of the house of your gods I will destroy the carved image and the cast idol. I will prepare your grave, for you are vile.'

4You will let go of your inheritance that I gave to you, and I will make you serve your enemies in a land you do not know, because you have kindled a fire in my anger that will burn forever.
7At any moment I might speak concerning a nation or a kingdom, to uproot it, tear it down, or destroy it.
12This is what I will do to this place and to its inhabitants, declares the LORD: I will make this city like Topheth.
