  • Isa 34:2-8 : 2 For the Lord is angry with all nations, and His wrath is against all their armies. He has utterly destroyed them, He has handed them over to slaughter. 3 Their slain will be thrown out, and the stench of their corpses will rise; the mountains will be dissolved with their blood. 4 All the stars of the heavens will rot away, and the skies will be rolled up like a scroll. All their armies will wither, as a leaf withers on the vine or a fig shrivels and falls from the fig tree. 5 For My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens. Behold, it will descend upon Edom, upon the people of My judgment, to bring justice. 6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood; it is fat with the fat of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, a great slaughter in the land of Edom. 7 And wild oxen will fall with them, and young bulls with strong ones. Their land will drink its fill of blood, and their soil will be enriched with fat. 8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, the year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

By these signs he had deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur. 21 The rest were killed by the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
  • Isa 63:1-7 : 1 Who is this coming from Edom, with garments stained red from Bozrah? This one, splendid in his clothing, striding forward in the greatness of his strength. "It is I, proclaiming righteousness, mighty to save." 2 Why are your clothes red, and your garments like those of someone who treads in a winepress? 3 "I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the nations, no one was with me. I trampled them in my anger and crushed them in my wrath; their lifeblood splattered my garments, and I stained all my clothing." 4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redemption had come. 5 I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled that no one gave support. So my own arm brought me salvation, and my wrath sustained me. 6 I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath, I made them drunk and poured their lifeblood onto the ground. 7 I will recount the LORD's kindnesses, the praises of the LORD, according to all the LORD has done for us—yes, the great goodness to the house of Israel, which he has granted them according to his compassion and the abundance of his steadfast love.
  • Ezek 38:8-9 : 8 After many days, you will be called to attention. In the latter years, you will go against a land that has been brought back from the sword and gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. Its people were brought out from the nations, and now they dwell securely, all of them. 9 You will ascend, coming like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land—you and all your troops and the many peoples with you. 10 This is what the Lord GOD says: On that day, thoughts will arise in your heart, and you will devise an evil plan. 11 You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will attack peaceful people who live securely—all of them living without walls, without gates and bars.’ 12 You will come to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against resettled ruins and against a people gathered from the nations, people acquiring livestock and goods, who live at the center of the land. 13 Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish with all their young lions will say to you: ‘Have you come to seize spoil? Have you gathered your hordes to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and possessions, to make off with great plunder?’ 14 Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: On that day when my people Israel are living securely, will you not be aware of it? 15 You will come from your place out of the far north—you and many peoples with you, all riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land so that the nations may know me, as I show myself holy through you before their eyes, O Gog. 17 This is what the Lord GOD says: Are you the one I spoke of in former days through my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time, they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. 18 On that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel, declares the Lord GOD, my fury will rise up in my face. 19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare: On that day, there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20 The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble, and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will call for a sword against him on all my mountains, declares the Lord GOD. The sword of every man will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed. I will pour down torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone on him and on his troops and on the many peoples with him. 23 Thus I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
  • Ezek 39:8-9 : 8 Behold, it is coming, and it shall be done, declares the Lord GOD. This is the day of which I have spoken. 9 Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set fire to and burn the weapons—the shields, the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the wooden clubs, and the spears. They will use them to make fires for seven years. 10 They will not gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons as fuel. They will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Lord GOD. 11 On that day, I will designate a burial place for Gog in Israel, in the Valley of the Travelers east of the sea. It will block the travelers, and there they will bury Gog and all his hordes, and they will call it the Valley of Hamon-Gog. 12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. 13 All the people of the land will bury them, and the day I am glorified will become renowned for them, declares the Lord GOD. 14 They will appoint men to continually pass through the land to bury the bodies of the remaining travelers who are still on the surface of the land, in order to cleanse it. At the end of the seven months, they will begin their search. 15 As they pass through the land, if someone sees a human bone, they will set up a marker beside it until the buriers bury it in the Valley of Hamon-Gog. 16 And there will also be a city named Hamonah. And they will cleanse the land. 17 Son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: Speak to every kind of bird and all the wild animals, 'Assemble and come together from all around to my sacrifice that I am offering for you, a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, so that you may eat flesh and drink blood.' 18 You shall eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls—all fattened animals from Bashan. 19 You will eat fat until you are satisfied and drink blood until you are drunk, from the sacrifice that I have prepared for you. 20 At my table, you will be filled with horses and riders, mighty men and all warriors,' declares the Lord GOD.
