22They went to the hill country and stayed there for three days until the pursuers returned. The pursuers searched all along the road but did not find them.
23Then the two men came down from the hill country, crossed over, and went to Joshua son of Nun. They reported to him all that had happened to them.
6So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.
8The men set out, and as they went, Joshua directed those going to map the land, saying, "Go, walk through the land, write a description of it, and return to me. Then I will cast lots for you here before the LORD in Shiloh."
9So the men went and surveyed the land. They wrote a description of it by its towns in seven divisions and brought the report back to Joshua at the camp at Shiloh.
22And Joshua said, “Open the mouth of the cave and bring out the five kings to me.”
15They followed them as far as the Jordan, and they found the whole way littered with clothes and equipment the Arameans had thrown away in their haste. So the messengers returned and reported to the king.
11Take silver and gold, make a crown, and set it on the head of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
