  • 10The priests carrying the ark stood in the middle of the Jordan until everything was completed that the LORD commanded Joshua to tell the people, just as Moses had instructed Joshua. The people hurried and crossed over.

  • 27At sunset, Joshua ordered them to be taken down from the trees and thrown into the cave where they had hidden. Large stones were placed over the opening of the cave, which remain there to this day.
